This product does not allow easy access to add seasonings and liquid ingredients as it states. The ingredients also do not mix well. It is best used for very simple task like steaming veggies and potatoes for a few people. You can add your spices/seasonings once the end product is removed from it's original container. I am very focused on healthier eating and weight loss. This is the greatest kitchen appliance I own for making meals interesting and easy. I have used it for so many veggies as well as mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving. For low carb eating, I steam squash, broccoli...and the best ever!.... mashed cauliflower! It is a low-carb side dish that is so very much like mashed potatoes without the guilt! If you are going to use the masher attachment, then the smaller you cut the raw veggies, the more effective the masher. The ONLY downside was that the mashing can leave the results a little coarse but for steaming, it is absolutely wonderful and a joy to own! Read more

My husband and I both enjoy useing it. We purched one for our two daughters and daughter-in-law,also for a birthday gift for a frend. We love to use it for steamin Vegie,and we will surely use the potatoe masher when all the family comes for holidays. I bought this product for myself and as a gift for my daughter. My husband and I have use this and we both has different comments. The beaters could be made of harder metal materal. The steam hole in the bottom make it a litte diffical for the liquid. The potatoes will only take the amount of liquid they can hold. The rest will run off into the resiour. Read more

I LIKE THIS PRODUCT. I LOVE MASHED POTATOES AND SO DOES MY FAMILY. IT IS HARD FOR ME TO MASH NOW THAT THE CARPEL TUNNEL KEEPS ME IN PAIN, SO THIS IS GREAT. SIMPLY PEEL AND CUT THE POTATOES AND THE MACHINE DOES EVERYTHING ELSE FOR YOU. QUICK, SAFE, AND EASY TO CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS. DON'T PUT TOO MUCH WATER IN THE STEAMER.
