Our son got this when he was 4, still plays with it at 5. All the kids, from 2 to 42, who visit our home love this rocket. We are going to get the Space Base, another toy that matches this one, by the same company. This is a fun and interesting toy that encourages my son's imagination. I decided to purchase it after reading favorable reviews on this web site. My three-year-old son became interested in rockets and space travel after seeing them in books and on TV. He really likes the moon buggy and the bed that folds up to reveal a toilet underneath. He also is a fan of the space dog. I think this is a unique and good quality product. It is of good size and is bigger than I expected it would be. I was weary of buying this becuase it seemed to cost a lot of money. It was worth every penny. My son got it for his 3rd birthday and still plays with it regularly over a year later. I also love that it's safe enough to have around his baby brother and sister. There are lots of neat things about it. The sound effects and lights are great. The little kitchen, bed, and potty on the inside are cute and make it entertaining. If you're on the fence, I say go for it with this one!! Read more

My mother-in-law surprised my 18 month old with this at their house. He LOVES it! He loves to push the button and hear the countdown to lift off! He is very into cars and loves to walk around with just the little dune bugy too. It is great that there are a few peices for him to play with. He can be a bit rough and we thought he broke the door to the top compartment off but it just snapped right back on! Also great that almost all of the peices fit inside the rocket (just not the moon crater). GREAT TOY Read more
