Ive been snowboarding for a few seasons now, but this is the first board Ive ever owned. After reading reviews elsewhere and the product description above, I was sold on the 158 K2 Anagram. Heres why:Freeride: this board is fast, light, and highly responsive. It wants to fly down the mountain side and I say let it. At faster speeds, carving is second nature. Just think about your shred and this board goes. Nearly effortless. The board has enough flex to forgive the East Coast ice/slush at the end of the season but is still sturdy enough to own the fresh laid pow. I could almost keep up with my brother, who rocks some wicked fast ski blades, down the diamond of his choice. Almost. And at lower speeds, this thing is just an all around joy to ride.Park: Let me preface this by saying my park game sucks. That said, this board is going to make me better. After reading a few reviews and the product description above, I was sold on the K2 Anagram. I have spent 6 solid seasons snowboarding but this is my first board and I love it. The board is fast, light and highly responsive. It performs as described and better. I tested it first with a couple hours on the mountain and observed the following: This board wants to go fast and I say let it. Once you pick up some good speed, carving is second nature. Just think about your shred and it goes. The board has enough flex to forgive the East Coast ice/slush late in the season and still stiff enough to own the fresh laid pow. For free riding, Im not sure this thing can be beat! Let me preface my park review by saying my park game sucks. I can nail a few jumps/grabs and ride a few rails, but Im far from pro. Just got this board end of last winter and can't wait to get back out on the slopes because of this board. It is very durable, very easy to ride, its a smooth ride, and also very fast! I would recommend this board to anyone, beginner or pro. Read more
