These boots are simply awesome! The dual boa system is great and makes adjustments a breeze. I've been riding a long time and have never been so comfy and in control in a pair of boots at the same time. I know there are a few other dual boa systems out there. I compared these to DC boots, which were a lot heavier and K2 boots. The big issue with K2 was that the second boa tightened the liner, where the vans boas tighten the upper and lower portion of the boot seperately. I find this to be key. I like the lower portion as tight as i can get it to prevent any heel rise and the upper section a little less tight to give some flex when playing in the park. I know they're pricey, but they are worth every penny. Once you try these on you're not going to want anything else so don't try them unless you're willing to spend a few bucks. I really like these boots. I tested them in Vail, CO and they worked like a charm. My feet stayed warm all day and I did downhill and park riding with great success. The boots are very comfortable and have a great deal of cushioning. They are a bit heavy, but that is the only somewhat-negative thing I can say about them. The BOA Focus system is the way to go. The single BOA just doesn't conform to your foot like the dual BOA system does. Definitely a great purchase!! Read more

these are great boot, the best I have ever put on my feet but the first day on the slopes I used them all day and they felt great and when i got to my car i pulled my pant leg up and the lacing system knob was hanging down and this strange metal piece fell out and it didn't just snap back in so i had to take them back and get a new pair and am looking for them to come to my REI so i can enjoy their comfort again Read more

These are the best boots i've used. The lacing is great, you can perfect the exact tightness you want as you are riding. I would not settle for single boa boots... the dual focus boa system is amazing. I bought them half a size smaller than my normal shoes, and after one use, they broke in and feel great. Read more
