Saw an inflatable pillow in a Brookstone store at the airport. Got home and looked it up on their website. Found this pillow for the same price and assumed it was the same after the description mentioned "leg comfort". No where did it have any dimensions. The one I saw could be used to sit on and I assumed the reference to legs meant you could sit on this one. I ordered this and opened it up and it is a tiny little pillow. Called to see about exchanging it for another one (that used to be the same price, but is a clearance item now) and they tell me that I can't return it because it is a "personal care item". When I ordered it there was no mention that it couldn't be returned, when they confirmed my order they didn't mention it either. They say it is written in their policy somewhere on the website. And it is written on the back of the packing slip, but the only way to read that was to open the box. Thanks for the rip-off Brookstone. Will know better than to ever buy from you again. Read more

The lumbar pillow is used at work for long hours behind a computer. It relief the excessive pressure on my lower back area. I love that I can deflate and take it on my many trips without any problem. Even though I am very happy with my purchase, but for my work area I will select the larger pillow that can be anchored to my chair, and have the inflatable lumbar pillow for travel. Read more

I bought this to take to Europe for back support. I wanted something compact that would deflate easily so I could put it back in its zippered pouch and be on my way. Inflation was easy, but the pillow would not deflate entirely. Some air remained so I was unable to get it back into the original pouch. Read more

It is to firm even though you can release the air. The problem is it cannot be firm yet with cushion, at the same time. I released the air significantly, yet it is still very hard, just smaller in overall size. Ironically, you can not return the item as I would have. If you like very firm, this is great. Read more
