With more American corporations (can't include names under agreement haha) leaning towards the trend of cheap labor and production costs comes the usual decrease in quality. So why'd I buy it? Because I'm cheap! But seriously.
This is yet another Chinese made master piece that lowers all of the bars when it comes to cardio engineering. So here's the truth. Some of the plastic parts are weak in structure and come cracked. The adjustable straps are located too high on the foot braces. Individuals with smaller feet tend to have them slip out of the foot holds. The electronic counter is nothing more than a magnetic sensor that is located on the top of the runner. When the seat glides over the sensor, the stroke number is shown. The problem with this is that the low grade electronics also read the "seat return" as a stroke count. So sorry folks! You'll have to divide the count by two if you really have an interest in how many actual rows you are doing. The wheel runners are not complet

Unfortunately, it is a bit of a slog to put together. It didn't need to be that way, since there are essentially only 8 bolts and washers to put the 3 major sections together. But the assembly instructions were so ambiguous and the exploded diagram done with such a fine line that it almost looks like a pencil sketch. Luckily, I have plenty of experience putting things like this together so I knew how to approach this. But it still didn't prevent me from nearly severing the wire to the diagnostic computer because it wasn't clear that the feet were actually made for the storage position and not the sitting position, which caused me to initially have the section turned the wrong way. And so it went. But my biggest problem with the unit is its piston. It has a clever tension-adjustment ring, but not a word about it in the instructions/manual. First off, I only learned through minutes of trial and error that small adjustments were all it took to make major changes in the 'friction q

[...] Once out of the box, I noticed it was cheap and flimsy. The wires were cracked and the foot holders seem dangerously weak. The pictures are very misleading. So I waited a week for nothing. Spend the extra money, don't waste it on this garbage. Read more

Ordered this for [$] despite reading alot of poor reviews. I have to say that its not too bad of a machine. The one I received was sturdy, easy to assemble, easy to use, and so far has gave me a good full body workout. I would say its comparable to many rowers in the -$200 range, If you can afford better, buy better, but this is perfect for beginners or limited funds Read more
