When we uncrated it, we were surprised by its small overall size. My wife was hesitant to stuff it full, and thus was disappointed in its capacity. I stuffed it full, and didn't find a problem. I started using 1/3 the amount we used in our old machine, but eventually used 2/3, with good results. I believe there is less pilling of fleece items. The washer is versatile in terms of different settings for verious types of clothes. It has special settings for delicates, and for "power wash" for extra dirty clothes. The machine takes longer than a normal machine, depending on what settings you use (longer for delicates or power wash), and also has a relatively small capacity, but you still can get 80% of my normal load in it. I bought this machine as a gift for my mom. She has a limited laundry space and has to purchse smaller than average washer/dryers. When visiting in November she was so frustrated with the inefficient machine that she had and was only able to do small loads. I went online and purchased this for her as a gift. She LOVES it!! I'm now her favorite child of her eight offsprings . . . at least for now. I also have one in my condo. It's a high-quality machine, environmentally friendly and is easy on your clothes. Read more

I am so disappointed with this washer. If you leave the clothes in the washer for more than 2 hours they will have a strong musty odor. If you forget softener you can not go back to the add softener, you will have to start the whole cycle over again. And it is a long cycle. The price of this washer is very high, and I thought this was the last washer I would need as I am retired and I wanted it to be a good one. I have had it for about a year and would gladly trade it for a less expensive Whirlpool or Maytag. Don't buy one of these you will be disapointed too. Read more
