This set is a life saver. I play baseball for my college and in the off season it's hard to work out because the school gym is really packed. This set was cheap, easy to use, and gave me great results. I put on 10lbs of muscle just in the off season and I owe it all to this set. It is a great piece of equipment, and I would have rated it 5 star if it hadn't folded up on me when I put alot of weight on the preacher curl. To solve this problem, keep the barbell bar on rack w/ some weight on it. Also use the safety clips. It has saved little kids plenty of times.It has nice features. After reading the some of the other comments, I have to disagree. Many of them said that the bench was not well built and not sturdy at all. I found it to be extremely well build and the two inch tubing for support makes it very sturdy. The only complaint I had was, that when it folds up, the leg developer/preacher curl still extends out almost to the original length; I solved this by going to the hardware store and getting a removable pin so i could remove it easily. The other thing to keep in mind (that I didn't know when I bought it) is that you need to have or get the 2" barbell and weight sets. Since the bar rest are space rather far apart (which is good from the lifting aspect) the 1" bar is too short. Additionally, the leg developer/preacher curl is designed for 2" weights. Overall, I am very satisfied with the bench, I think it is very comfortable, sturdy, and well designed. I would highly recommend this bench because of the price and its functionality. Read more

I bought this bench and discovered that a piece was missing. As a result, I was forced to disassemble it and return it rather than they just send me the missing part--what sense this makes, I am unaware. When I got the replacement, it was missing the very same part. Finally they just sent me the part. Also, the new one has a crooked seat, however, I wasn't about to go through the hassle of reporting more errors. To make matters worse, the rack part of the bench is positioned in a very awkward manner, being right where I would normally put my hands on the bar. Do not buy this bench. Read more

The product is pretty much everything you could ask for in a single bench. BUT THE BAR IS NOT OLYPMIC. Its standard. so if your hitting your palms or hands on the holder, its about time you got a bigger more advanced bench for your workouts. Read more
