He loves the colors, he dances to the music, he loves to talk to the toys, It is easy to clean. He can be there for hours and not get tired. Now that he is big I just take the top off, and attach the toys to the bottom (the mat). Fisher Price this is an excellent product! They like to watch the colorful lights and listen to the cheerful music and nature sounds. They like to swipe at the hanging toys and kick at the rattle and crinkly leaf. My one complaint is that the butterflies don't turn on their own; you have to manually turn them. Our babies love watching the butterflies but it can be a pain sitting there twirling them around. This activity gym keeps our boys occupied up to several times a day for 10-30 minutes or so. I think they will like it even more when they are a little bigger because then they will be better at activating it themselves when it is in that mode. I like that there are places to hang other small toys. This is very worthwhile, as it occupies our babies quite well and gives me a few moments to do other things. They still can't control their hands well to swing at the items, but I'm sure it'll become even more entertaining then. From maybe a month old (even though they were born 6 weeks early), our littlest (not in the image) loved to sit and stare at the animals and kick her legs and wave her arms. Our son and our largest daughter used to get bored easily with this when they were young, but now that they're focusing on finer details (looking into our eyes) they absolutely LOVE this. They stare intently on one item and get so excited a swinging arm accidently hits something and they go NUTS!. (they're pictured in the image below, my son is very serious but look how happy a face he's making in the background?
