My son received this for his fourth birthday. He was dying to play with it. So, got it out of the packaging and followed all the instructions, including diluting the paint, which, by the way, does not mix well AT ALL. Finally got the thing all set up, and the sprayer did not work worth anything. It was like the nozzle part was already broken, or just so poorly made that it never had a chance to work. The colored water (because the paint wouldn't mix with the water properly to get out the clumps) literally dribbled out of the bottom UNDERNEATH the nozzle. Then the motor just kept running, even though the trigger was not being pressed, and was not stuck in the "on" position. I had to unscrew the battery case and manually take out the batteries to get it to stop. All in all, this has got to be the worst product I've ever seen from Crayola. This sprayer was AMAZING fun for two days. My daughter got it for her 4th birthday. It did go through the paint fast, but that was ok since she was having a blast. I loved that you had to point it at the ground to paint...no painted cars and houses, or sisters faces. She painted and painted and loved every second. Day three...went out to play and the motor runs but no paint comes out...which seems to be a common problem...talk about an upset 4 year old!!! So, it was fun while it lasted, but that was not very long! I expected better from Crayola. THey have a long history of quality products, they missed the boat ont his one. it is not well made at all! The only good thing about this product is that it doesn't spray unless it's pointed down. It's horrible on so many levels. First, the paint, according to the instructions, must be diluted prior to use. The problem is that the paint does not mix well with water and stays clumped. Even using hot water and stirring for several minutes does not make all the paint dissolve. Second, the motor, even with new batteries, is inadequate to pump paint from the bottles through the sprayer. The paint flows so slowly through the tubing that we could actually watch the clumps of paint trying to flow through. Third, the paint comes out in tiny drops rather than a stream of paint. I wish I had read the reviews first. I bought two sprayers and refill paint. Read more

It sort of works...sometimes! The paint just sort of dribbles out in a stream smaller than a baby bottle would make and it ends up in litttle dribbles. Matter of fact I think a baby bottle would do a better job! Talk about misleading when you look at the packaging picture. I am not one to return things once used but you better believe I am returning this product. How disapointing coming from a company like Crayola! If they could get this to really work it would be lots of fun! Read more

This product was a real NIGHTMARE for my little granddaughter. My husband & I purchased this product along with 5 other Crayola products, when we tried to set it up for our granddaughter to use it wouldn't work even with new batteries, needles to say our granddaughter was very upset that it didn't work. I was furious at spending good money for a piece of junk like that. Crayola, you need to get your act together if you intend to be in the business of making toys for children. I'll never recommend this product to anyone, I wish I had read these reviews before, I would never have spent a single dime for it!!!! Read more
