Having done some resarch on similar scopes at this site and other, I came to the conclusion this Vixen A80MF met my needs. The Porta Mount is easy to set up and very sturdy. I had the system unpacked and set up within 30 minutes, and was out zeroing in the finder scope and doing some quick observations of Mars, Orion, and the moon. The image of the moon was bright and sharp, showing distincly the craters and the shadows.
