Purchased this cute Cars toddler bed for my 18 month old son. He LOVES it!! Couldn't wiat for it to be set-up. Only problem is the craftsmanship is terrible. I had such a difficult time fighting with this bed for it to go together properly. Holes didn't line up, bars were off center, and some screws/nuts wouldn't go on correctly. In the end I finally got it assembled but since it was so difficult I only gave this item a 3 star rating. My joy is seeing how much my son likes to sleep in his new bed. I would recommend the product but with an explanation of my issues. Read more

This is an awesome product. My 3 year old son just loves it. Yet there is one small problem... when assembling the bed do not tighten all the mattress support screws until the bed is fully together. This will save you a pain later on Read more

Sometimes the pieces didn't line up quiet right and the side rails were hard to put on (the plastic wassn't smooth, it was full of lumps). But the directions were very easy to follow. My son loves his Lightening McQueen bed and I love the price. Read more

OK, I usually like to own the product for a while before I review it so I feel I can really give it a fair try. Unless it's just a disaster and I have to return it asap. So we have owned this bed for almost 8 months. I wanted his first big boy bed to be special and since Mcqueen and the movie cars are his entire universe at this point that was the obvious choice. I almost spent the several hundred dollars to buy the bed shapped like the actual Mcqueen. Lucky for us my son didnt want one. He wanted this one because his buddy Mater was on there also. We were hesitant because of the price and the whole "you get what you pay for rule" I am glad to report this is the exception to that rule. This bed ROCKS. It is very sturdy, i can lay in bed next to him to read with no problem. The siderails are great to assure he wont fall out, the art work looks exactly like the characters and my hubby had little challenges with putting in together. If you could get past the assembly process of this bed, this bed is really worth the purchase. It is sturdy, attractive, and my son loves it! Actually, the directions are very clear and easy to follow. The problem is that the metal frame is quite tricky to put together. Be sure to line the metal bars in the holes BEFORE you start screwing it in! I was missing one screw after I counted all of the parts, and so I went to the hardware store to get another one. So I had to buy a small pack. The real problem was the screws! I do advise you to buy new ones that look the same, maybe slightly longer and wider at the very top. This will help you GREATLY!! I ended up using all of the new screws instead, which held together very well. Putting the headboard and footboard on the frame seems easy, but it may make you scream! You will get it together with a little patience though. Trust me, I never put anything together in my life. It was worth it though. Read more
