WONDERFUL MOBILE!!!!

I was given this mobile by a client who has two sons...one loved it and the other didn't. I almost thought about giving it away because it didn't match my newborns decor...but decided to give it a try. AM I GLAD I DID!! My daughter LOVES this mobile!! We call it "going to watch the parade" and she is nuts about it. The music lasts forever and the colors are very stimulating. The batteries lasted so long that I started to think the thing was alive or something! I really credit this mobile with kick starting my daughters development and after three months she still loves "talking to the animals"! Great mobile. It entertains my newborn/infant so I can get a few things done. From the moment we brought him home from the hospital, he seemed totally captivated by this mobile. The picture below is soo cute IMO. He looks at the animals like he's looking at his friends. Hubby and I joke when he's in his crib with the mobile that 'he's spending time with his friends.' Only cons, it's heavy and does rub paint off the crib where it's tightened, I get sick of listening to the music-I wish there was a setting where the animals would move but NO music or be able to play some other music or even better plug in an IPOD. Also, if there was a way to play it longer or have a variety of time settings 15, 20 or 30 minutes. Overall, it's been a lovely sanity/lifesaver. Read more

This was one of the only mobiles that would fit our crib. We bought a modern crib with wider slats and could not find a mobile or soother that would fit. My daughter is mesmerized by it (she is now 9 weeks old)....the only negative thing I can say is it has little sliders that glide down as it turns & they make a click-clank noise as they do which is not soothing but can some times make her jump...especially when she is in a deep sleep. I guess I could tape them so they don't glide but i don;t want to alter the intention. It is obviously there for a reason...Overall, I would highly recommend this mobile...she loves it & the classical music is delightful. The black & white swirls on the underside she stares & stares at them & then following the mobile in circles with her eyes. Read more

First time mommy that LOVES to spoil from Ashburn, VA

I wanted a mobile that was unique and would go with any color or decor...this was perfect! Not only was it perfect for that fact, but our little guy LOVES this mobile. Since birth he has been been infatuated with this. We had one in his crib and in the living area during feeding time and just holding him. Once he turned 12 months, we decided to take the mobile part off and leave the musical part since he loves to listen to it at bedtime and when he wakes in the morning. He is now 19 months and still LOVES to listen to the music. When he sees the mobile part in his closet, he reaches and wants it. Love this mobile. This would keep her occupied for hours if I left her there to look at it. Her eyes light up when I turn it on. She gets so excited kicking and cooing away. This is not a "sleepy" mobile. It's full of bright colors and cool designs. The way the mobile is slanted is brilliant. She focuses on each animal as it comes near her. I totally buy the black and white idea too after having this mobile. The only thing I would change is being able to turn off the music when the mobile is on, other than that it's great and educational.
