I have two 1 year old labs, brother and sister, who love to share the same toy, so we thought this would be perfect. My girl had almost chewed through the red plastic after the first use. The black rubber is now splitting. The kongs and flexible frisbee have held up great but they need to rethink the tug toy. Now we only give it to them when we are supervising their playing. Read more

I would not recommend this to anyone with an aggressive chewer. We have a 45-pound pit bull who insists on chewing on the red side parts. She easily chewed a hole through one side within the first half hour. I cannot get her to pull on the rubber grips despite praising her every time she does and smearing the handles with peanut butter. Definitely disappointed - her black Kong toy is one of her favorites and has lasted about a year. I was hoping this would be of the same durability. Read more

I have a pit bull puppy (around 70 pounds so far). He loves to chew and play tug-o-war. So I was hoping that the Kong pull toy could withstand his play. He loved it, but in less then 2 hours, he had the black handles and black mid section that attached the two handles together totally chewed off, creating two separate chew handles. I have purchases other Kong products with better results, which is why I had hopes for this. Need a toy tester, Kong people? Read more

We had a lab mix rescue dog (Brody who has since been adopted) who absolutely adored his Kong tug toy! He'd carry it out to the yard with him, and try to get the other dogs to play when he couldn't get a person to play. He never got tired of this toy. On the other side, of the eight dogs who had access to this toy, Brody was the only dog who would play with it at all. Unless your dog has a very high tug-drive, you might be better off with a different toy. Read more

Excellent Tug of War toy. My pit bull loves to pull and tug on toys. Ropes are no match for her. But this toy is fantastic, she can play with it for hours. DO NOT let them chew on it though, its not a chew toy, Strictly Pulling. Also Try Kongs Wubba, another great toy. Cant go wrong with Kong Read more
