I just bought this today, and within a half hour, my dog started scratching like crazy on her back where I put the stuff. She also was pacing and walking really weird, and just not acting like herself. She just would not stop. After about two hours, I decided I needed to get that stuff off of her, and gave her a bath. She's still scratching where it was, but she's probably irritated from this stuff. I looked this up, found all sorts of bad reviews, and didn't want to have to rush my dog to the vet all because I'm trying to get rid of fleas. I will now be forced to buy the more expensive stuff and possibly make a vet trip just to get it. I felt so bad for her because she was suffering and just looked like she was in pain/sufffering. Just 2 1/2 hours after we applied Sentry Pro XFC to our health 5-year-old Siberian Husky, she started foaming at the mouth, was unsteady and had trouble walking. We took her to the emergency animal hospital when she continued to experience muscle tremors, seizures and high body temperature. To reduce the tremors the doctors administered Propofol to reduce the tremors. Two days later she was released. It took serveral days for her to fully recoup. was using Frontline plus for several months without a problem, then decided to save some money and buy a cheaper brand. The moment I put it on the dog I knew I made a poor decision. It was very greasy and you had to put it on from between the shoulder blades all the way down to mid back( because we have a large breed dog) the next day she was itching like she never had before in her life I bathed her and she is still in discomfort and it has been several days. This product is TERRIBLE!!! I got it hoping to go natural and SAFE for my dog. He is an 8 year old beagle who has had NO health/gastrointestinal problems and within a few hours of applying this stuff he vomits 5 TIMES!!! We washed it off immediately and it seemed to help but he has still vomited twice since then (yesterday). He is still lethargic and not wanting to eat (that says a lot because this dog LOVES food). I used this product thinking it was a less expensive alternative to frontline. Well it made my pappillon vomit clear foamy liquid for 4 hours, tremble and shake throughout the night, and cry in pain throughout the night. Went to emergency vet, there was another pet in for the same thing. There is no remedy. This is a neurological poison, it is bad for your pet. The positive reviews are fabricated! Read more
