Unfortunately, even at age 60, I haven't ever learned that when they say less is more, there could be a reason. The Yoga Toes instructions are pretty vague about starting gradually. I figured that when they said to start wearing them for 5-10 minutes, it was to build up to a point where they wouldn't be uncomfortable to wear. Since they felt pretty good from the get-go, I wore them overnight for several days as soon as I got them. The good news was that my toes did, in fact, straighten a bit. The bad news was that after a week, I could barely walk! My podiatrist explained that I was suffering from tendon injury from too much stretching, too fast.

The end of the story is, after a couple of weeks of limping around in flats, my feet did recover, and I started using the Yoga Toes again, this time very, very gradually. I now use them for a half-hour or so most evenings, and they are just great. My feet feel like they've been massaged, and yes, my toes are straighter.

I do believe that the

I bought these because I noticed my right foot changing. The bone leading from my big toe had started to protrude, and the toes were shifting in the other direction, causing lots of pain. A quick 'net search showed me that it was a bunion in progress. Yikes! I had heard of those, and didn't want one, so I started researching what to do about it, and YogaToes came up. Overstock.com had the best deal of course, so I decided to order the small size to start with. I am between their recommended sizes based on my measurements, so I figured starting smaller would be ideal. Sure enough, the product took some getting used to, but once I did, ahhh! Relief! Soon I chose to move on to the medium size, which at first hurt quite a lot. I couldn't even fit my smaller toes through it at all. It's a matter of getting in shape, like any other stretching. It took about a week, with gradually building up more minutes each time. Now it feels heavenly to use my medium sized YogaToes! I'd sleep in them if I

I've had my Yoga Toes toe stretchers for a week now and my happy feet will attest to their worth!
When I placed my order, in the back of my mind I was wondering if they would be any different than the much cheaper foam toe separators I have for pedicures. Was I falling for the newest trend? Nope! Yoga Toes really work!
I may be weird (okay, I am!) but in the past I would try to flex my toes and massage them to get rid of a cramped feeling that resulted in years of wearing pumps. No relief that way...
I tried my Yoga Toes as soon as they arrived. I had to place them in water (as suggested) before I could slip them on. I stuck to the recommended 10-15 minutes for the first trial. My feet felt so much better even after that first time - no more cramped tightness in my toes! I tried a 2nd "exercise" period the first day - that was more difficult/painful. I've been sticking to 15 minutes daily and that works for me.
It's too soon to say whether I'll be able to stretch my toes back into look

I have tried other OTC products for a bad case of tailor's bunion and hammertoes, and Yoga Toes seems by far the most promising. So far, they've been more effective--and less painful--than anything else I've tried, but it's still too early to tell if the improvement I've noticed will have any lasting effect.
I found the instructions that came with them rather sketchy, so if you have trouble putting them on I recommend going to the manufacturer's website, which provides more detailed instructions. Once you get the hang of it they're not hard to use, especially if you wet them down (just hold under running water for a second) before trying to put them on.
Be sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendation and do NOT try to walk while wearing Yoga Toes; it's uncomfortable and possibly dangerous. Aside from that, I'm generally satisfied with the product and hopeful about its effectiveness in straightening out my toes. Read more

I purchased yoga toes thinking they would help separate my toes that get crunched up during the day while wearing high heels and running around after my 8 and 11 year old. I was so excited when they arrived that I ripped them out of the box, thinking only of the soothing comfort my tootsies would have for the next half hour or so. Well, not so. The problem is.... I have teeny tiny toes, paws really. My big toe is normally sized, and so is my second toe. The yoga toes work great between those two. But since my other toes are so tiny, the extra gel is wasted, and the "toes" are not very compfortable. If you have toes like the woman in the ad, then I think they would be perfect. But, if you are little like me, I wouldn't recommend them. (I am only 4 feet 8 and a half inches tall!!) Read more
