They are thick and yummy with a very nice liner to boot. I ordered the Cafe color which is a really a chocolate brown. The picture on Overstock makes them appear a shade lighter than they really are. This is the best price you will find anywhere for velvet drapes of this quality. Excellent addition to my new dining room. True to the photographs on the website. One of the panels has a flaw in the weaving of the fabric which is small and close enough to the edge that it can't be seen when they are hung. If it were in the body of the panels I would have returned/exchanged one. Just something to keep in mind.
