I bought this key chain for myself. I'm the type of person that does not like to carry photos in my wallet. I have 3 kids and people are always asking me to see pictures of them. this key chain holds about 60 images. It is very light weight and rechargeable so you don't have to spend money replacing batteries. The software program is a no brainner to install and to use. It would make a great Christmas gift. I'm a new Grandma and I was very excited to get these key chains - what a great idea! However, the keychains can connect to a USB port on the computer, but is not recognizable by the computer without loading the keychain's software. Only problem is that the CD is a MINI CD. If you have a slot-loading CD drive on your computer (my laptop is a slot-load), you're stuck without an adapter to hold the mini!! I've had the product for several weeks now, and need to go and find an adapter to be able to load the software! The manufacturer really goofed on this one - I've totally lost my excitement and motivation to actually get the keychain up and running! Read more

They're nice as long as they all work. My computer couldn't read the software, so I ended up downloading it. It requires a full 7-10 hours to initially charge instead of the 3 hrs it says. Once it's loaded and working seems to work fine and the picture is nice and clear. I gave the value 2 starts because I bought the 4 pack and one of them didn't work, and Overstock won't replace just the broken one. So I paid for 4, but can only use 3 - not sure that's much of a value. I'd only recommend to to someone with a lot of knowledge and patience to deal with it. Read more

I bought the four pack of this item and was worried after seeing the reviews on here. But I have now had my item for three weeks and I have loaded all but one of the keychains with pics to give away as Christmas presents. It was probably a little longer than a three hour charging time initally but I haven't had to charge the one I carry on my keychain once since that first time and it still comes on, lights up, gives me no trouble. The software installed easily and synced up with the keychain just as the instructions stated...you do have to follow the directions to get this to do exactly what you want. I am running Vista as my OS and there was never any error message or problem at all. Everyone I have shown this to wants one and thinks it's the coolest thing...definitely a good purchase. Even my husband was pleased since one of these is going to his Mom. The only thing I would improve would be to add a separate button to turn the backlight on and off because if you don't keep scrolling … Read more

This is such a neat item that I bought 4 of them! One to keep and 3 to give away. A word of advice - test them before giving them out. I opened one, followed the directions, and it didn't work - it would charge and load the picture, but when I unplugged it, I couldn't turn it on. I tried out the other 3 and they worked just fine. I returned the one that failed and the next one worked great. To test it, follow the instructions, but basically - load the software, plug in the keychain, let it charge, then see if it works after you unplug it - make sure you can turn it on and off and scroll through. Other than that, it's a wonderful item! I know people who take a lot of pictures, and it gives them a great way to show them off. It's tiny, but not any worse than when they go to show them off in the camera! Read more
