Cage is very sturdy and likewise is the stand. I was a bit dissapointed since I ordered a Sand Colored cage and the plastic base does not match the cage. I was told all the plastis bases are an off whit color, however they seem to be more a light blue green color. We have a single cockatiel and the bird loves this cage. It could have been designed a bit easier to clean. Overall its a very good sturdy cage. Install instructions leave a lot to be desired, you will need pliers to assemble the cage. Read more

I shopped around for a cage for my parakeets, and came across this one. I bought it because of its large size, ease in cleaning, ease in moving room to room, and esp. for the price. I shopped for a cage locally, and the cages just didnt compare to this one. The only problem with this cage is figuring out how to put it together! There were directions, but they weren't very clear. My parakeets love this cage-plenty of room to move around and also to add extra perches and seed cups. The slide out drawer makes cleaning easy. I would recommend adding a seed guard to keep your floors clean. Read more

This bird cage is perfect for my parakeets, the instructions for building it was a little vague but with time & patience it went up guick. love the 2 quick access doors for food and large center door to reach in, also the top opens up for even more access to the birds. my parakeets seem a lot happier now that they are able to stretch thier wings & fly a little bit I also love the portablity of the cage. would recommend this cage to all small bird owners Read more

Bought this cage for my cockatiel, pain in the butt to put together and the instrustions left much to be desired (includes a picture and a parts list). It needs a seed gaurd because there is nothing stopping seeds and feathers from coming out of this cage and it needs to have better doors, prefurably ones that lock. But once the cage is set up it is very pretty and spacious. Read more

Poorly made, my Quaker lost a toe due

I bought this for my Quaker, it was recommended by the staff at the store. Today my Quaker amputated his own toe because it got stuck in the jam between the front panel and side panel. I went to the store and they said this is a bad cage because it is never right. The pieces never line up and they usually dont recommend it. I took my Quaker to the vet and now he is on 4 different medications and wearing a bandage on his whole food. And he is one toe less. Read more
