i'm impressed with how quietly it runs. however.. when i try to make hamburger.. i cut the meat into 1 inch pieces and put about 1/2 pound in at a time and pulse pulse pulse.. i always end up with chunks that NEVER grind! i tried bigger pieces as well, same thing. i think a hand grinder would be simpler and more effective. once the blade kind of grabbled hold of the meat and just spun it around like a washing machine. it's great for liquids and sauces though. Read more

This product deserves rave reviews! I am not the best cook, but this preocessor has improved my cooking and allowed me to expand the variety of meals I make. The very first time I used it was to make my gravy for Sauerbraten. My fellow Austrian, Wolfgang, would appreciate that. I used it to crush the gingersnap cookies and then add the drippings/juices to make the gravy. My gravy came out perfect, maybe better than Mom's! Recently, I made a curried chicken sate. I used both the blender and the processor. It was great to have that option. I adore this for making cole sale, tuna and chicken salads, etc... Everything can be done in the processor. Clean up is as easy as can be, even without a dishwasher. This unit proudly sits on my countertop of limited space. I don't know how I lived without it. I actually look for ways to use it and look forward to cooking whebever I do. I would take this over more expensive, bulkier, harder to use food processors any day! Read more

I bought my husband this machine for Christmas and every time he uses it he raves about it. It is fabulous! We chop/mince a huge amount of raw vegetables in our processors. They are so dense that it is very hard on 'normal' machines. We wld have to do multiple small batches to keep from burning the machines up. Not so w/ this big ol' bad boy!! I cannot believe how it powers thru even the hardest vegetables. And it is SO quiet. I use it more and more for things I used to do by hand because it is so fast and quiet. Love it. The attachments (especially the perfect sized spatula) are great and the on-board storage is a dream. We have the plum colour which is gorgeous in our kitchen. This is our first Wolfgang purchase - I am sure it will not be our last! Cldn't be happier w/ it. I shopped lots of the Kitchen and Dept stores before I bought it and cld only find MUCH less powerful machines for the same or more money! Worth every penny! Read more

I just used my machine for the first time today but it was LOVE at first use! This is a wonderful processor. That power made shredding cheese a piece of cake. It is so quiet, I could not believe how a machine with 900 watts could be so quiet. So easy to use, so easy to clean, so easy to store. I don't have a drawer full of messy, sharp blades lurking in readiness to slice my fingers because they are all stored conveniently in the drawer right under the machine. I don't have a long piece of cord just hanging around everywhere because it fits in the machine. I just ordered the smaller bowls to go with it and I am looking forward to many, many happy experiences using my wonderful Wolfgang Puck Processor. I bought the red one and it is beautiful. And, of yes, when I turned it on I didn't have to chase it all over the cupboard because it is heavy and stayed "PUT" exactly where I put it. The quality is amazing. Thank you, Wolfgang. Read more

I received this food processor for my birthday in July. I had really high hopes. The good news is that the unit is very powerful and has a large work bowl. It works well with the blade. The bad news is the disks. When the last bit of food leaves the feed tube, it gets caught between the disk and the lid. I have had cheese and vegetables lodge between the lid and the disk, causing the lid to fly off. It is a very scary situation. The food has actually bent the variable slicing blade and the large shredding blade, causing it to chip the bottom of the feed tub! I am afraid to use the disks. The other issue is a hygiene problem. Food has worked its way into the drive mechanism on the bowl. In order to clean it, I have to use a nut driver to dissassemble the parts. Food particles also get into the handle when it goes through the dishwasher. There are serious safety and design problem with this product. Read more
