The construction is admirable in a thong and the leather is supple. Had they fit I think I would have been very happy with them, the wide coverage of the strap was very secure. I'm not big on thongs usually. What I love is the leather collar over the instep. That, plus the adjustment strap, makes it feel much more secure than a regular flip-flop. These were just a little too loose, but would probably fit all normal D widths. The buckle on the tightening strap slipped, so they remained too loose. Regretable, I returned mine.
