Good 4gig playback device.

This is my first actual "MP3 player."
I got it to go in my new car.
Yes, I've got PDAs and Aiptek digi cams that are players too but the X45 is what it is.
The battery charged quickly and adding files is drag and drop (unlike the PDA and cams which require an extra folder). This may be common for you who've had other dedicated players but for me it was a pleasure. Music, photos,videos... just dump 'em in and the X45 will take it from there.

However, navigating through the menus is not so easy as one wrong press will take you back to where you started. If you want a variety of songs, you have to build the file on the 'puter first.
Individual tunes can't be rearranged other than deletion.
The sound is fine and it offers EQ settings.
The mini plug connection on mine is a little touchy and will reset the thing if handled wrong.
The text for the menus is small and does not contrast well.
Displaying photos on a screen this small is futile anyway but the X45 handles them as well a
