Two and a half years ago, I was severely fatigued, unable to maintain even normal activities because of anemia, brought on by the effects of kidney cancer, bladder cancer, end stage renal disease and the numerous related treatments. I lost my right kidney to cancer in 1999, endured eight subsequent operations to remove bladder cancer and, on July 4, 2006, began dialysis treatments three times a week. I am self employed, and the loss of three entire mornings a week to dialysis severely affected my work schedule. I'm a network engineer working from home full time. I find it hard to sit at a desk all day every day and needed a change. I decided to purchase this laptop desk because I wanted to be able to sit comfortably in any chair in my home and be able to access the laptop. It has wonderful flexibility as far as height and tilt. I love the guides that hold the laptop in place and the place for the mouse. Great for anyone who sits at a laptop or even if you just want a place to prop up your favorite book and read!!! Would be nice if it had a cup holder and made my tea for me! Read more

Assembly was reasonably simple; I liked the way all the little parts were labeled. I wish the table top were longer, as it is difficult to position it properly without the support pole running into your chair leg. The top also wobbles a bit, especially when it is in the flat position. Read more

A great tool for those of us that work from home where space is limited. I don't need a full desk with drawers and keyboard shelves etc. This is a great table with legs that slide under the sofa and the bed and it brings the computer to you where you are comfortable, instead of you going to the computer. Only con would be that it could be a few inches wider. As is, it still accommodates my 17" notebook very well. Read more
