This is my second Keurig, the first I lost when I moved out of my old place "you can go but PLEASE let us keep the keurig" :) I decided to upgrade to the Breville model as a treat to myself. This was my first purchase for my new home! What can I say that hasn't been said before? The keurig machines are great, the k-cups are as convenient and good tasting as you can get. An added bonus of the Breville - it is simply gorgeous. It looks incredible in the kitchen with all the other stainless appliances. I would rebuy this in a heartbeat. Read more

My husband & I drink coffee every day. We have owned MANY coffee pots in the past & I do have to say that since I have owned this one there is NO turning back. We have different taste in coffee so this allows us each to have our own cup & there are many kcups we have both found several that we really enjoy drinking. Not to mention the tea, I love that in the evening. We have also tried the hot cocoa & it is good as well. Takes less than 1min. to brew your cup once the water is heated. Can set it to come on in the AM & turn off whenever or just leave it on all of the time, it does not matter. Lets you know when to add water so no guessing. I am so glad that we decided to splurge & try this coffe pot because it truly is one of a kind. Read more

I first saw the Breville coffee maker on a freind's kitchen counter while visiting on Christmas day. It drew my eye as few modern appliances do - unless they were designed in Italy. I don't know if the Breville was, but it has all the earmarks of it. It marries form and function as only Italian designs usually do. Catching my eye on his machine my friend offered me a cup of coffee. I chose an Extra Bold Sumatra blend from his large selection. In went the K-Cup and out came the coffee. Strong and black, just as I like it. "Would you like another cup?" he asked. "Indeed!" answered I. This time I went with an intriguing breakfast blend. It was even better than the Samatra. Its been said that "three time's a charm" and that justified a third cup, this one a Kona blend. It too was delicious. Disappointed Breville Owner from Massachusetts

Love the style of the Breville, but the pump and vibration is so loud, a poor excuse for a unit that cost so much. Also still searching for a coffee that does not taste bitter, even tried increasing water but keep resorting to my own grounds in the My K Cup for a good cup. I'm keeping the unit but it may get retired to the basement and my old unit brought back upstairs. My advice to you, do not buy it! Read more
