Cali's 50lbs and approx 34" long. We bought a Large and she has plenty of room to stretch out. Haven't had any problem with washing it and easy to vacuum every now 'n' then. A little more than what I would've liked to pay for a dog bed but it was worth every penny. Took her a day or two to get used to it, but she sleeps in it all the time now instead of our bed. This is a very wonderful bed. We have bought alot of dog beds in our day, and I would say that this one is about the nicest one we've ever had. Also, the price on this bed is unbelievable. We've paid twice this amount for beds that were not near this nice. We have a 55 lb. Collie so we bought the XL bed. It is pretty big, but it is nice for him to have room to stretch out in. Right away he knew the bed was his, and he was so happy to claim it!! Now we don't have to feel guilty not letting him on the couch! Read more

From the moment I unpacked this bed and put it down for my dog, "Belle", she crawled right in and made it her own. She loves the bolsters and typically you'll find her with her head propped up using the bolsters as a pillow. I bring her with me to work daily and purchased this bed for the office and it couldn't have been a more perfect choice. The design is perfect for her but I think it's a beautiful product, very well made and I love the fact that the bottom and the bolsters have their own separate zippers for ease of cleaning. We exchanged the pillow style bed for this one and it is absolutely perfect! Our dog seems to want a pillow-type area for her head and the bolster edge on this one is just perfect for her. We got the large and she's a 40lb. aussie mix and the size is big enough for her to stretch out and is cozy when she wants to snuggle in the corner. She takes all her naps there. I believe in her mind she was telling us, "finally you got me a decent bed!" (she also does not try to go on the couch anymore!!) Read more

I especially like the design of this dog bed. My dogs really seem to enjoy snuggling up to the bolster and draping their heads on it. At the moment I have more dogs than beds - it is funny to watch one dog race to a bed as soon as another one vacates it. I'm looking forward to receiving the last one so each dog has their own bed. The dogs are content and no longer jump on the furniture. Read more
