It plays fast and comfortably, and it sounds excellent. The strings offer a nice even full response. You can hear the highs, and you can hear the lows. However, it's a little quiet. A friend of mine has a cheap [...]Fender and it is actually louder than my D-1. Still, you can't pass up this tone. Unless this is some new version of the D1.
