I bought this guitar because I think PRS guitars are the most beauiful and unique guitars on the market. For the minimal price of the Tremonti you get the feel, the sound, and the overall thrill of playing guitar on a beautifully crafted instrument. I'll take this over my Les Paul any day! Read more

The main reason i bought this guitar was because i am an extreme Creed fan, and i was using a squier. This guitar is absolute guitar perfection in nearly every aspect. The most noticeable feature of it is the weight of it. This is probably the lightest guitar Iv'e played. The string's setup is abolutely perfect for rapid hmmer on/pull off licks that are common amoung Mark Tremonti's music and the tone is absolutely wonderful due to the high quality of PRS pickups. The tone has a very far range and sounds better than any Stratocaster or Epiphone Iv'e seen. The only thing that limits this guitar is my amp. Read more

Have had mine a short time and just love it. Didn't see other reviews, so here is mine. All controls were great, very smooth volume and tone controls and pickup switch. Neck pickup was awesome clean and dirty, mainly clean, while bridge was kind of muddy with distortion and current amp settings, so engaged EQ pedal and things were really smokin', but without EQ pedal, lead tone was very violinish (Eric Johnson) and very pronounced. cool. By the time I looked, I noticed fit and finish were flawless, really. I went over everything. Only thing I noticed was little black dots on side of neck (in white binding) were just so slighty off center, thats it. I've always had doubts about those fixed intonation bridges not holding intonation WAAAY up the neck, but mine was spot on. Action too. Never thought a mid-400 dollar guitar could look and sound this swell. Had a lot of reservations about a Korean made instrument, or one this low-cost, but that notion just got smashed. Really cool to add ano

For the price, this is a great guitar. I've tried out many PRS guitars, most of which cost much more than this, but the sound from the Tremonti SE is right up there with them. As soon as I opened the high quality cordura bag, the guitar captivated me (I got the platinum finish). The pickups are of high quality, and can capture the high end as well as the low. The stoptail bridge keeps the guitar nicely in tune, and I play in many different tunings. Overall, I would recommend this guitar to anybody in the market for a new guitar. At this cheap price, it delivers the amazing sound that PRS is known for. Read more
