I bought these shoes to take to Disney. I wanted sandals (because they are cool) but also the comfort of a tennis shoes, since we'd be walking a lot. These were a combination of both! I got them 2 days before leaving. I admit I wore socks the first day to break them in a little (although they were extremely comfortable.) They were great. Not given to laudatory excesses normally, but these Lagunas just might be the finest thing I've ever put on my feet! Am 65, retired and travel and walk/hike a lot, often to warm places. Also have feet that sweat a lot and swell some as the day goes on. Have never before had footwear of any kind, either sandals or expensive walking shoes that were more comfortable and that adapt comfortably and automatically during the day because of the stretchy laces. What a great idea by Keen! I normally hesitate to order shoes online, because I'm somewhere between a 10 1/2 Wide and an 11 Medium. Well, these sandals fit me perfectly and my son who is an 11 Narrow only had to make a slight adjustment in the stretchy laces for them to fit him perfectly also. Feel free to walk in the water at the beach. If they get dirty or the water is salty, just wear them into the shower, clean/rinse them and let them air dry overnight. These shoes are the best. I have had my knees replaced and stuggle with my balance, and bad ankle that I have had to wear a support on for the last few years. With this shoe I have much better balance and I have not needed to wear the support on my ankle. I think it is the shoe base that makes the difference for me. I teach school and they are great to stand in all day, and I am always getting compliments on the choes as well. I am going to buy a second pair for a little variety in color. Read more

I have very flat and wide feet. These fit like a glove. There was very little break-in time (just an hour or two). They stand up well to punishment. Not the most breathable sandals on the market. Well worth the buy!!! Read more

I bought my kids Newport H2's and had to get me a pair of Keens. We jumped around the tide pools the next weekend. The Keens gripped the wet and dry rocks, felt very stable and protected on the sharp rocks and shells. The straps adjusted easily to tighten up when the sandals got soaked with salt water. The leather held up well in the salt water, dried back to it's normal appearance w/ a little salt residue that brushed off. Very comfortable running after the kids on the rocks, grass, sand or pavement. Only down side no 12 1/2 I had to go up a half size to 13 due to toes pushing into the toe in a 12. So a little loose but strap tightens nicely. Heading to Zion N.P. for a family vacation looking forward to chasing the kids on the trails. Read more
