Fisher & Paykel is high end so we had expectations but could never have imagined this dishwasher would install so easy, run so quietly, clean so well, and have all the interior components engineered so well for fit/function/longevity. With all that said, it now seems like an economical purchase as well ! Read more

We replaced a 15ish-year old dishwasher with the dish drawer. So far, we really love it. It's very quiet, and it has a lot of capacity (I would say more capacity than a standard 24-inch dishwasher). I also really like that I will have the option to run the salad plates and reuse them for dessert during dinner parties, but still have room to but my dinner plates in when those are ready to be cleared.

So far, we are really just using the top drawer (just 2 of us) and it's really nice not having to bend over to get heavy plates.

It also looks pretty cool. Read more

This is the second house we've put a double Dish Drawer into; I think it is close to the perfect solution: sleek, quiet, different enough to add some pizzazz and super reliable. 5 years with no servicing on the first one, and almost a year now on our second. I prefer direct wiring over the supplied plug, and had to drill out what claimed to be a "knock-out" access hole. I also finished the adjacent cabinet sides and floor as instructed this time, and this improves the quiet and residual humidity after use. Draining into a disposal isn't required, but it's quieter than gushing into an unmuffled drain. Read more

I have had my stainless model for only 4 years and the rotar, the actuators the lid seals and the link supports all need replacing. I would be paying not only for 1 dish washer but 2 since their are 2 drawers. cost of my repairs are $932.18 whats the point its cheaper to purchase a new one. I now am trying to make a decision on what to buy. Yes I did like this dishwasher and not saying i wouldnt buy another but Its not worth it to repair, when a new one cost not much more. Read more

I originally bought these dish drawers because of a bad back, and had trouble loading and unloading a conventional dishwasher. BIG MISTAKE. I have had nothing but trouble and service calls, customer service personnel are extremely rude, and the company refuses to stand behind its product. After only five years of very limited use (we run two loads per week), I have had it. I am replacing Fisher & Paykel with a reliable brand. CHECK CONSUMER REPORTS BEFORE YOU BUY. FISHER & PAYKEL IS A GOOD PURCHASE ONLY IF YOU ENJOY CONSTANT SERVICE CALLS, AND MIGRANE HEADACHES. Read more
