I work 12 hours a day and sometimes forget to set something out for dinner, the FlavorWave Oven is great cause now it doesn' matter. We used this for the Thanksgiving turkey -- 8 lbs. breast only for about 10 people. Turned out great, moist and tender. Took less time (way less than cooking the whole turkey) AND freed the oven for other parts of our meal, like pies and rolls). It made the Thanksgiving dinner prep so much quicker and easier to clean up! For non-Holiday cooking, the Flavor Wave is used for steak, hamburgers and fries, fish,chicken, biscuits,garlic bread, etc. I bought an accessory which Brylane sells (mesh sheets designed for pizza and cookies) and the round one fits the Flavor Wave perfectly/ makes fries and biscuits easier. This is the only kitchen appliance that my son wants for Christmas! Read more

Don't think "fry", instead think convection baking/roasting. Chicken came out tender, juicy and crispy. Duck cooked beautifully (first I steamed it Chinese style, then I crisped it in the flavor wave 400 degrees for 30 minutes) and it was superb. Pork steaks cooked beautifully, as did a fruit tart. My only dislike about the flavor wave is that when the unit is hot, and you pause cooking to check to see if food is done, the whole heating elimate comes off leaving the clear dome in place. No matter how many times I try to lock heating elimate in place it will always come off if the unit is hot. When cold it stays in place. Read more

I received this oven as a gift from my daughter who loves her Flavorwave. It's wonderful! Chicken, roasts, meatloaves, chops and steaks come out perfectly! After a month and a 1/2 the motor died and we contacted the Flavorwave people.[...]All this would take 4-7 weeks. My daughter called Brylane and no fuss they sent us a completely new oven within the week. They didn't even require the old one back as proof. Brylane stood behind their product when the manufacturer wouldn't! I will be loyal to a company who is loyal to me. Read more
