Best iPod ever!

So I've had this iPod Touch 32gb for about a week now and I am so happy with my purchase! Although I was kind of aggravated that there were NO cases for this iPod Touch anywhere! I checked 3 different Best Buys, Target and even an Apple Store and they all had TONS of cases for iPhone 3G and 0 for iPod Touch!

Well I ordered a case online and I love it. Its a black silicon case that fits the new iPod Touch, it covers the volume buttons too. And it comes with a cover for the bottom of the iPod where the USB plug in goes, to protect from dust and other particles, thats a nice plus! Now to find a screen cover next!

I am upgrading from a second generation 8gb iPod Nano and I've been in need for a larger space iPod since last year and 2007 iPods didn't impress me enough to buy one, not even the 16gb Touch! The battery life seemed horrible at 22 hours for music. But this year's line up was much better. 36 hours for music on this iPod! And 32GB Flash memory is awesome! Now I have enough space

I am definitely a gadget person and this is my favorite gadget ever so much so that it has me looking at other Apple products (I am a Windows user).

The interface is truly touch control with a high level of accuracy. 'Flipping' through screens works with actual finger flips and its perfect. It even can pick up faster acceleration that is intended as you go through a long list.

The apps that are included are well thought out and FUN to use. For instance the Weather app allows you to set up a beautiful page for as many cities as you wish (I use it to input family locations around the world), each page giving a 7 day forecast, and links on each page to go to a yahoo info site for that particular city where you can see events and other news about that city. I have 7 cities entered and I 'flick' through them quickly to get an update on weather where a particular family member is. A cool feature is thoughtful graphics that relate to the weather. For instance if there is alot of snow it wil

        Pros include:
  1. Easy navigation even though with hundreds or even thousands of songs (with the condition you have properly arranged music library)
   2. Cover flow flipping makes finding album interesting
   3. Can make instant on-the-go playlist, which will be automatically saved into iTunes when sync
   4. Easy access to Play, Pause and volume when screen is lock, without the need to unlocking the screen
   5. Wifi capability and easy surfing using Safari web browser. This is very useful especially when traveling without a notebook. During my Las Vegas trip, I was able to check my email and look for some information online about the location I was about to visit the next day. Although I was only staying in some cheap motel beside the freeway, they provide free wireless connection. Isn't that cool? 2 out of 3 hotels I stayed in during that trip provide wireless connection.
   6. Sleep timer enables me to listen to songs while I'm on my way to dozing off...
   7. Flexibility

I'm a professional photographer and purchased this product initially to have a pocket-sized display of some of my images to show to people on the spot. Of course, this it does beyond compare. The images look spectacular!
Being a PC-based computer individual, I was a bit skeptical of the liasion with Apple. Not to worry. I already had 8gb of music on another manufacturers' device which I was keeping track of via Windows Media Player. When I plugged in the iTouch, it found all of my music, converted it to whatever format it needs for the iTouch and copied it all over to my new device. Slick! It did the photos equally as well and as simple as can be.
Next I thought about utilizing more of it's capabilities (after all ... I did buy the 32gig!). So I decided to include all of my contacts from my aging PalmPilot-type-device. This was not quite as easily accomplished as the music and photos, but at least I didn't have to type everything in using the little pop-up keyboard on the iTou

This is my first replacement iPod for a first generation 20 gb player that is still great as a music box and file transfer drive, but obviously can't compete with the bells and whistles of the new models. I love the iPod Touch and use it as a PDA, a music (and more often PodCast) player, and I'll admit to an occasional game--although the latter is the least used function, I have to admit the accelerometer is pretty cool. I also have a great ebook reader and have several novels. Between podcasts and novels, I can keep myself entertained on a flight or my daily bus commute. With HanDbase recently released, I have almost all of the functionality my old Palm device used to give me. The touch typing works, not quite as fast for me as graffiti did, but it is more than usuable. I bought a Belkin leather flip case that I quite like, but it does make it harder to make finger contact around the edges. I am not the kind that needs 1000 albums on my iPod at any one time, so I think, based o
