CLR is AMAZING. I'm not very seasoned when it comes to housework but I'm VERY thorough with it, and in the past I've spent way too much time trying to get something as clean as I want it using popular cleaners. Recently I had to rescue a kitchen full of neglected unwashed dishes for a family member and I was appalled at the work in front of me. I really thought it would be impossible to save some of the filthy dishes but it was no sweat using CLR.I used CLR to quickly and VERY easily remove caked on food, lime stains, rust, and general nastiness off of ALL kinds of dishes, cookware, silverware, utensils, glasses, crystal, etc. There's no way any typical cleaner would have done the job CLR did, even if you scrubbed for hours. But with CLR I barely had to swipe each thing with a sponge after soaking it in CLR. Beats LimeAway hands down. When our renter moved out we discovered the toilet was dark brown with lime/calcium buildup. Poured about 1/4 bottle of the CLR and let it sit for a few hours and the buildup came off with minimal scrubbing. Left the once disgusting toilet looking new. Read more

The smell is overwhelming and difficult to use if you are in small places with no air vent. I of course dilute it, but my bathroom does not have a window and the strength of the product even diluted is overwhelming. Otherwise, I would recommend it based on it's ability to clean hard water spots. We life in the country and our water comes from a well. It can do damage beyond belief to your facilities. Read more
