I was taught by my Grandmother, who retired from a cleaners as a presser, how to clean anything in your washer, with the exception of wool. She swore by steam, but the industrial steamers were too expensive and bulky. Thank you, Thank you for this wonderful iron. It is very lightweight, looks like chrome, but is not, and has held up excellently! I use it everyday in conjunction with the at home dryell dryer sheets for items that must go to the cleaners. I am on a strict budget and this iron has saved me hundreds of $'s a year since I purchased it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! If you are on a budget and want to limit your dry cleaning bill. This Iron Is Awful!!!! Before I bought it last year I went on line to read the reviews. When I read all the Negative reviews about how it STOPS WORKING PROPERLY after "ONE YEAR" IT STARTS SPITTING OUT STEAMING HOT WATER ONTO YOU AND YOUR FEET, ALL OVER THE FLOOR. IT WETS THE GARMET YOUR IRONING AND SATURATES IT, LEAVING A YELLOW STAIN ON YOUR GARMET FROM THE WATER LEAKING OUT. THIS IRON IS DANGEROUS!!! Of course my warranty is up and I'm just going to throw it out in the garbage. I'm sooooooooo sorry I didn't listen to all the NEGATIVE REVIEWS REGARDING THIS SHARK IRON I would have saved [$] with the shipping and tax. I'm sticking to my old fathful Brand "ROWENTA" I had one and it last me for 10 years. every day ironing,it stays hot to iron jeans well,gets wrinkles out,steams very well, but you have to stop and fill it up often.water cover breaks easily.works great for a few months and then it starts leaking and spewing water out the steam holes leaving brown stains on your clothes. This is an outstanding Iron I love it since the first day I received it. For Example: Due to the economy I can't afford to send my clothes to the cleaners so I decided to make this purchase to help me with the laundry bill. This iron is outstanding I love it due to the time that it takes me to iron all of my all of my clothes for the week since I only use it once a week. It's great for Jean and also those pants that we love the most but they are so wrinkle that we put to the side because we don't have time. I was a little apprehensive, ordering this sight unseen. I have had other shark products so I thought, "Why Not"? Best decision ever. I LOVE the iron. The steam feature is absolutely great and what a burst, when you need it. The iron just glides over fabrics with the shiny stainless steel plate.
