While looking for a stackable W/D, my Abt phone rep mentioned the Duet Sport. I did some online comparison shopping and found the W/D to be in the bottom quarter of all stackable pricing - and Abt was the most competitive. They both work amazingly well. They are extremely quiet and don't shake or move at all. And while the washer appears to have a small capacity, it's actually very large. Everything that fits in the washer easily fits in the dryer, which dries things extremely well. Both machines have great settings for manual and automatic use, and the washer has a 6 hour delay, so I can set the wash when I leave for work, and they won't have been sitting wet all day when I get home. I highly recommend both units. Read more

I've owned the dryer for a year now. I had to reglue cloth striiping around the lint trap because it was partially coming out of the groove. But overall I'm really diappointed in the performance. To was a load of cloths will take a little over a hour but to dry the same load can take two and a half hours. On Saturdays the dryer runs all day. I quit using the auto sensor. It shuts down before the cloths are fully dry. Also, in the auto sensor mode it goes to a cool down mode. This isn't need and just waists electricity. I've using the maual setting. It will go up to 99 minutes. But thats not enough time. I'll reset before the 99 minutes are up becasue it'll go to the no heat cool down mode for the last fiftten minutes or so. Generally I do about 75 minutes and then reset for another 75 or so depending on the size of the loan. A lot of money for a good looking dryer. I would not buy this product again. Read more

I love the flexibility of this dryer. It has a sensor that stays on as long as your clothes are wet or damp. It has different settings depending on what items your drying. It is also great for shoes, if you have kids....it's great. I love it. Read more

I previously wrote a review about the LG DLG2526W. After 1 year and several repairs on the LG dryer, I switched the LG for this Whirpool (WP). What a difference! The WP dries in 1/2 the time it took the LG. The outer casing is compact in size compared to the LG dryer and the slight difference in cu.feet is not noticable. I had WP laundry appliances for a lengthy amout time prior to purchasing the LG appliances. This is a fantastic dryer! I wish I had the matching WP washer in lieu of my current LG washer. Excellent choice if purchased on sale. Read more

Grea machine overall. No problems at all. There is the ability to use either a preset cycle or to customize to your own needs. Dries very efficiently and quickly. Read more
