If you want a frig for something other than red wine storage, then get over the fact that this one doesn't say Viking or JennAir or whatever and BUY THIS FRIG! Quiet to the point that I thought it wasn't running. Coldest setting is 35F - so soda, beer and wine are cold. Adjustable shelves let you store anything. I bought this frig for the new wet bar in the basement and was convinced that I would have to spend at least $1000. After looking at lots of more expensive models and reading reviews on those that said that they were loud or not cold enough, I was nervous. I hadn't really looked at Avanti products, but I saw this in the store, saw the temp control on the ouside set to 35 and then saw the price and bought it. So far, this has been a great buy - and it's attractive too! I cannot comment on the energy usage yet. Read more

We were pleasantly surprised to find this attrative refrigerator for our bar area. It is quiet and looks great. We are having a problem with condensation forming on the inside and outside of the door. The condensation got so bad that we needed to keep a towel handy to wipe it down. We plan to exchange it for the same model with a stainless door rather than the glass door. Read more

The frig was purchased for use under the bar in the basement of a new home. It looks great but the door will not close tightly on it's own. ON numerous occasions the beverages have been found to be slightly chilled and frost forming inside. Obviously with children this frig is not the best and can only imagine how much energy is being wasted due to inconsistent closing. Read more
