If I know anything about Clean&Clear, it's that its products are very affordable. This was very cheap compared to many other skincare products you'll find in the store. To use the astringent, get a Q-tip and dab it over your pimple. Use this under your moisturizer. I personally would never use it as a toner because it is -extremely- drying. And right after you dab it onto your skin, it'll really sting. Normally, I use it like a spot treatment. It works much, much better than other products that are SUPPOSED to be spot treatments. In my opinion anyway. Actually, right after I bought this, a really large pimple emerged on face. I immediately got a Q-tip and dabbed at it. Although it really stung, I literally saw the pimple shrinking in size. Within a couple hours, it was at least two times smaller and makeup-cover-uppable. I brought this the other day because it was cheap. I was skeptical about how well it would work, and was even more surprised when it stung rather badly when I first applied it. However, I did find that within moments of putting it on my skin, the irritation went away to the point that it didn't feel like anything was on it. I have only used it for two days (counting today) but I can already see some difference and I can't wait to see what happens after a week. Thank God for products that work and are affordable. Although yes, it's true that while some products work for one, it may not work for another. it all depends on your acne severity level and skin-type. I say, experiment until you find what works. The sensitive one of this kind is awesome. cause this one will definately dry out your skin unless you have like really oily skin or something. i have combination skin.. with it oily in the t zone. i use it after washing my skin with the clean and clear continuous foaming wash. and then use the morning burst shine control moisturizer after all that. i've been doing that for like 2 weeks. all my acne is gone. makes me happy :D this stuff feels great. the smells okay. its not like it stays on. you cant smell it after its dry. it your skin smoother and even. get it! the sensitive one that is. clean and clear is better than any other brand for skin. first of all if you have dry skin, use this with a moisturizer on your side. It dries skin and can cause breakage if you just leave it as it is. It does leave your skin smooth and soft, refreshed and gives off good results if u have normal or oily skin. it left me with flawless skin, and even though i rarely get pimples and i catch on, i put this on a cotton ball and apply it all over my skin then moisturize (especially in the winter cause your skin dries faster) and the pimple dissapears the next day or the day after I love it! I used the CVS version of Clean and Clear Astringent for Sensitive Skin and it is one of the best products I have used (and trust me I have used ALOT). I have been using it for about a week now and my skin feels as smooth as a baby. It has also (along with Neutrogena's Visably Even Moisturizer) helped to fade stubborn dark spots from a mild/moderate acne breakout I had. I haven't had any breakouts since I started using it.
