The only problem I've had is that the ear tips come off easily and get lost. I did however find out that BOSE is aware of the problem and has corrected it. Here is the link to get the three replacement tip sizes for free with the new design that helps them stay on better. I have been using earbuds all my life. So I was thrilled when I heard that Bose was finally releasing earbuds. I have long thought that Bose produced superior quality sound. I was sadly disappointed. For 99 dollars this product is a complete rip off. First of all, the sound was to my ear no different. I have to keep the volume up almost all the way to hear the same sound I bought from a JVC earbud set when the volume is barely more then 1/5 the amount. Second this "revolutionary" design to fit ears did not help me in the slightest. They fell out almost every time I used them. Even on the largest earbud size. I do not have particularly large ears--but the design was not for me. Thirdly, and this is the reason NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT, the earbud replacement pads fall off really easily. If you do not store them in the leather case they offer, and let's face it, we don't always store our earbuds as we should, then putting them in your bag, on a table, or on the seat beside you

But who cares? The sound has more "bottom" than my v-moda vibes, and the fit is different. However, Ella and Louis sounded GREAT with the Bose--better than with Sony or the ipod earbuds. I listen to a lot of jazz, world, and latin music. I often use my ipod when in an airplane or library, grading. In my office, Herbie Hancock and Marian Mcpartland sounded great. I got good round bottom and the high-hat came through very sharp and clear. If they "burn in" as others say, maybe the highs will become more distinct.

I don't think the Bose IE are for all situations. I won't use them for my workouts because I can hear the sound of my typing and shuffling of papers when I wear them at my desk. Working out, I want to block out all the noise from tvs and dropped weights (and do I really want to sweat all over these??). To me, the sensation with the Bose is more like listening to my Bose soundock. Music quality is really nice and I can still hear little noises around me. I find them comforta

Very clear sound with rich Bass and clear Trebles. It is surprisingly comfortable once you select the correct silicone ear-tip size. [...]. As with all in-ear headphones, running or jogging can be troublesome since they tend to fall off. These headphones deliver clear and crisp notes, even from old MP3 / CD players, which is very surprising! Read more
