Superb dryer, handles any type of clothing very gently, and the cycles nicely co-incide with the WM2455H washer. From sleeping bags to fine wools, this dryer can do it all, and it's quiet and quick. Save your money and get the white one(s), they're the best looking in the series. The smooth white finish, chrome control dial, and chrome door bezel are somewhat reminiscent of mid-century appliances like Wedgewood and O'Keefe and Merrit. Very cool. I'm 5'10" but it's still a bit awkward to control the dryer, a problem they addressed in a new combo with a reversible control panel that isn't yet available at Best Buy as of this writing. You might want to keep a step stool nearby if you're 5'6" or under. My 5'7" fiancee can reach them well enough but the display is a bit harder to read than the washer's, that's all. Great when it works, but horrid when it breaks which seems to be within 2 weeks of purchase (Home Depot doesn't share that part with you when they're pushing the LG products). And, don't expect LG or Home Depot to be helpful! My dryer has been broken for 2 MONTHS!!! Home Depot wouldn't take responsibility for it, LG makes you go through their process, and LG's "Certified Technicians" typically don't even show up for appointments. The first repair person did indeed show up, but didn't follow LG's "procedures" so LG refused to replace the non-repairable dryer. The next person LG scheduled to come out didn't show up for any of the 3 appointments they scheduled with me. It's best to call only the supervisor's line as the people on the customer service line neither speak intelligible English or allow you to speak to a supervisor. LG SUCKS. Don't buy it! Read more

I purchased this to match the washer WM2455, but also decided the pair had all the features the we could possible need or want. I am a very discriminating consumer and hold manufacturese acountable. This product is everything it says it is and does an out standing job of drying all the clothes that comes out of our 4.2 cu ft washer. The sensors work great and this keeps my energy costs to a minimum and that is so important. Although my wife is the one that uses the machines, I'm the one who researched the different products, and she is tickled pink with my selection and says their performance is exceptional. Hesitated between LG vs Whirlpool to match new washer. Best choice was LG! Wide opening and stainless steel drum. Fully dries lots of jeans. Make sure unit perfectly level upon install. Read more

I can't say anything bad about this machine. It's awesome. I love every feature it has. I'm so glad that we bought the matching set and invested a little more for the stands. Unless you're a midget (and I'm only 5'2") it would be a back-breaker without the stands! Our laundry room is right next to the family room and we use to have to turn the volume wayyy up on the tv if the machines were running. With these machines, they're so quiet you hardly hear them running at all. And unlike competitors with the annoying buzzer sound at the end of the cycle, the LG's play a happy little tune.
