The RCA RT2760 has been a pleasing investment for our family. It is installed in our family room where we watch movies and sporting events. The variety of sound settings from Dolby to Arena to Theatre are done by the touch of a button and really enhance to program being viewed. The set up of the unit was somewhat difficult. The unit has settings for each speakers power and distance. There is a test tone that is supposed to help with this set up but I found it takes quite a bit of trial and error to get these settings right. Once the proper balance in power is found the sound is of good quality (clean and clear) however not as loud as I thought it would be with 720 watts. The room we have it in is about 14 by 16 and it works well in that room but I feel if it was in a larger room the quality of sound would not fill the room as well. Over all I am pleased with this produt and I would recommend it to someone looking for a basic economical solution to surround sound. Read more

The system was delivered fairly quick and was easy to hook up. The sound is great although I'm still trying to figure out how to get the back speakers to be a little louder. With an HDTV and DVD player, this was the perfect purchase for a great viewing experience.The downfall: If you don't care that the product is refurbished, then you should definitely get it. If you are looking for something brand new, don't get it. The price is nice, but the system that I received is damaged...obviously because it is reconditioned. 2 of the small speakers are dented in the front, the subwoofer has a deep gash on the circular part and the top of the tuner box is all scratched like someone previously had other electonics laying on top of it. I love the value of this home system, as it fits my area beautifully and the sound is rich and luscious. However, RCA needs to re-think their instructions format, as it was the most confusing and Byzantine I've ever encountered and I'm still not sure if I'm using the product to its fullest extent. Also, the remote is not thought through either. Like all products that are complex, once you get it underway it works great, but it can be very frustrating in the setup. Overstock sold a very good product though and it was a great overall shopping experience. Read more

. It turns out to be better than the one in the family room. Nice sound. They only thing I wish it had was full connection for video / audio devices. Makes figuring out the connections a little more difficult. But quality is excellent. Sound is great and subwoffer could be set for different perferences.. Read more
