I began a year ago when I recieved my little Heidi who is a toy rat terrier. She began on Science Diet Puppy Small Bites (added a little water to soften) and she ate it up. Now a year later she weighs 81/2 pounds and is eating Science Diet Adult Small Bites. each morning she cleans her bowl & is ready for playing ball. She has never been ill as Hills Science Diet Food gives Heidi all the vitamins and nutriants she needs. I will not feed anthing else, and it is always in stock at my petco store. Read more

I have a 1 1/2 year old pit bull. When it comes to food we call him the picky pit. He took to the science diet puppy kibble and onto the adult ""small"" kibble. He would not eat the regular size, hence the nick name. Even though he has a big mouth and appetite to accomodate the normal size kibble I guess he just likes the small bites better. He has never snuffed away from science diet food or the biscuits. He doesnt seem to care for the bulk kinds you can buy at the store. He's like the poster dog for this brand of food. I've been to 3 vets over the years and they all have the science brand on display in their offices as well. It's worth a try! Read more

My dachshund was a little overweight-like most are-but I was concerned for her long back bone and did not want her to get injured so the Vet recommended the Hills Science Diet. My little fun loving Dachshund really likes this food and she has lost about 7lbs over the last 9 months. Her coat is shiny, she has tons of energy and looks so healthy. I really recommend this to anyone that loves being owned by a dog. Try it and have a healthy happy dog. I do recommend buying it through Petco, much cheaper than the vet. Read more

I have a 4 pound Yorkie that had kidney failure and my vet told me that I needed to feed him a dogfood with low protein level to help his kidneys. Well, I researched all the dogfood and Science Digest is the only one that I found that had the right protein level. And since he has been eating it, his kidneys are fine! He does not have any issues with them any more!! And he loves it and likes the small bites, because it is easier for him to eat. I also feed it to my Chihuahua and they both have shiny coats and are very healthy. I'm very satisfied with this product and I won't feed them anything else. Read more

Our little furry friends are our kiddos and if your like me you want the best for them. We currently are parents to 10 canines, 2 felines, 1 goose and a fish. Most of the dogs and cats have been fed science diet all their lives. I say most because we just adopted 4 weiner dogs. They were in BAD shape when we got them in December 2007. February is just beginning and already you can tell the difference in their coat, eyes, teeth and their personality. Our cats are 15 yrs old and the other dogs are 5/4/and 2. As you can see we truely trust our kids nutrition to Science Diet. Read more
