After months of research my wife and decided to get this wonderful bird cage. I am very hard to please (Maybe because I have been the Quality Assurance field for 20 years) when I buy things, and let me tell you I'm pleased with this EZ cage. I waited 5mo before I posted this review. These are the reasons I bought this gage. 1. It is medium size cage not to big or small and fits and looks nice in my living room. 2. I have a love bird and the 1/2 spacing is great for my love bird. 3.My love bird learned how to open the doors in his old cage (Smart Bird). 4.Feeding my bird is a breeze with this cage. 5.It is very easy to clean this cage. (***TIP*** use vinegar and paper towel to clean the front plastic/acrylic front) 6.I love the front clear door it allows me to see what my bird is doing. 7.The perches are wood I also clean them once a week with vinegar. 8.After I clean the cage I move all his toys, and perches to a new position. 9.My bird loves the play top, and plays on it or hours. 10 … Read more

While it's true these cages are more expensive, one does get what one pays for. The quality of the metal is rather solid, and according to the manufacturer's label, built to their precise specification so I think they're trustworthy. The most inexpensive cages available have a coating on the cage bars that (MIGHT) contain lead or other toxic compounds. For finches, that's fine - it would take a lot for them to chew into the coating. I'd rather not take the risk and, yes, one often gets what one pays for. I like how this cage has two droppings trays; one up top and the other at the bottom. The one up top can be removed when the bird plays outside the gym, or it can remain in to eliminate the risk of toys or food getting soiled. The acrylic front is an interesting idea, but makes my conure think there's nothing there. I think a full cage would be better for hand-fed intelligent birds like conures. This is a very nice house for our birds. They really enjoy it . They can fly around, build their nest ,eat ,drink and watch TV from the front window of their house. We have seven finches in the cage. I was really surprised at how well and careful the packing was done. A tip to the previous person who had a issue with the plastic . It does stick to the side of the frame but if you take out four of the screws on the window frame it will loosen enough to remove the film clean with no fragments left behind Read more

I love this cage! It's gotta be one of the best ones out there! The only bad thing about it, is that it's very heavy. but other than that it's awesome, it fits in with my living room and bed room sets and he seems to love it. i wouldn't recommend this for a big bird though, its good to give your bird a lot of space. i only have 1 cockatiel and i wouldn't put more than 2 in there. it's so easy to clean too. another bad thing is that it's on the pricey side. but you gotta get this cage, I LOVE IT!!!!!!! First off I have had two other cages. This case is the best one so far. I agree the price it higher than most but it pays off. My bird was not hesitant by this cage. In fact we had his old case next to the new one and he prefers the new cage over the old. We have moved him to our family room and he has pick up new words and has become friendlier.
