I bought this product after reading the great reviews. I have been INCREDIBLY dissapointed with the cordless sweeper & Fantom's customer service. Upon using the cordless sweeper for only the 2nd time, it would not turn off, we had to take the battery pack out to get the vac to turn off. And when we stick the battery pack back in, it's automatically on & won't shut off until we remove the pack again. I called Phantom's customer service dept & they were not only incredibly slow, but advised me that I was required to pay shipping to send the item back to them (with many shipping stipulations included) & send them a check to have them ship their defective product back to me once they fixed it. In other words, they told me that I would have to pay more than the product was worth to ship it to them, have it fixed & have them ship it back to me. Right off the bat I was amazed and excited for how clean my carpet could be. We have pets so all that hair gets into the carpets and I just can't get it out. The very first time I used my Fantom I had to clean it out in just minutes "BUT" that means it was cleaning and sucking up so much dirt and hair that I couldn't pick up before. Best vacuum I've ever owned. AND the little sweeper that came along with it sure makes it nice to just go over a few places in between the more heavier and time consuming jobs. Read more
