I came to Oklahoma after Katrina. Previous to Katrina I had lost my husband to cancer complicated by diabetes--a long illness since 1992. I was so shutdown, I had to learn to live all over again. My sister brought me her copy of your magazine every week. Little by little I learned how to buy groceries, spend my alloted Social Security check wisely and even learned to save a little. Through the stress and bad eating habits I was more than 400 lbs. I am under 350 and have better eating habits and a more frugal way of living without stress. Now I can enjoy the little things of life and get on with living. When I get confused or unsure of how to handle what life is throwing my way I can usually find how to deal with it through back issues or the current issue of your magazine. I love recipes like yours because I actually have the ingredients in my cupboards. Clothes you would actually wear!!!!! Its very real for the average, "normal" reader. This weekly periodical is best described as a "little bit of everything." I scan its pages for new recipes and ideas for decoratimg my house. I learn tips for making the best use of my money and caring for my health. Each week brings new fashion and beauty highlights-and no, you don't have to be rich to afford them or twenty to look good in them. Two pages of puzzles and a brief mystery provide "brain candy." The real-life inspirational stories warm my heart. I find the personality quiz an amusing diversion, yet I do not recommend them for serious consideration. Read more

I am a current and a past subscriber of Womans World magazine and each Monday i look forward to checking my mail box for my copy.I READ YOUR MAGAZINE FROM COVER TO COVER AND I HAVE STACKS OF WOMANS WORLD MAGAZINES.
