It's a short-lived sense of excitement and a real disappoinment - not just because I have to buy a new vac now, but more than that, this will ultimately end up in a landfill somewhere and live out a life that will never biodegrade. Not good for the house, not good for the environment. I wanted the cordless upright one that shark sells and my daughter bought this one so I kept it and tried it out. I love all the attachments. I love that you can get into areas that other vacuums can't reach. It's easy to clean out too. My only dislike is that the pieces fall out while you are using them unless you really push them in hard. The only real problem is the battery. It didn't even last 6 months before it wouldn't hold a charge. I ordered a new battery and it also lasted about 6 months. Don't keep buying new batteries. It is very frustrating to use with the long attachment since it falls off frequently. The base unit is hard to get off the charger. You have to wiggle it a lot. You must keep the filter ultra clean or it won't pick up.
