I have been taking these supplements for years when i want to grow my hair out and they are great. I don't even worry about getting a bad haircut anymore because I know I can take these and grow my hair back in no time. It has doubled my hair growth and the results come quickly. The first time I used it i noticed significant growth in two weeks. the only down side is that i think it also makes your nails grow faster which is a down side only for me because I hate long nails and I am constantly clipping them. I am also an African-American, and I started taking this product in conjunction with braids back in 2003 when I was trying to grow my hair out. This product made the hair practically fly out of my scalp! After taking it for about 2-3 months I went from the nearly shoulder length, damaged hair I'd had my entire life, to absolutely gorgeous hair about 2in past my shoulders. Thicker and more beautiful than it had ever, ever been. I can't tell you how many complements I got on my hair. I thought it was the braids that did it; however, the last time I wore braids, I did it without the product (mostly because I had forgotten about it) and didn't experience even half the growth I did when I was taking it. Unfortunately I didn't take care of my hair the way I should have (lots of heat styling caused breakage) and now it's back at square one, length-wise. I dyed my hair about 7 times in 4 weeks because I didn't like the results of the colors I was trying. It was a disaster. A few days after my last dye I noticed that my hair was really starting to thin and fall out. I was terrified of going bald so I got online to see what could be done. I started taking Ultra Nourishair and Biotin and honestly I do think they have helped! My hair stopped coming out in the shower and im noticing new hair growth (not much obviously since Ive only been taking the vitamins for a month). My hair looks much much better- maybe because of the healthier diet im on or maybe because of the supplements, probably both. At least im not crying over my hair in the morning anymore :) Good stuff. I don't know what to think. The first time I use this product was in 2005 and it did nothing but cleared my skin. I use it three years later in the summer of 2008 and it made my hair grow about 1" in three weeks. I'm taking them now (September 2009) and its been a month and I got no results. No clear skin or hair growth. I'm assuming the pills work based on your given body chemistry. Read more

My friend told one day that i had the same length of hair since 6th grade (3 inches below shoulders/ medium length with tremedous split ends). I was really mad becaused i always wanted long hair, but straightening and using other hot tools really stunted my hair growth (6th grade was when i started to use a straightener), so i was on the internet one day and came across these pills. I said to myself, why not? I have been taking them for about 3 weeks minus 6 or 7 days thast i skipped. I have seen pretty good results. I have WAY LESS split ends, my hair has grown maybe a little more than half an inch (it takes me a full 2 months or more just to grow that length) and my hair is REALLY shiny. I want it to grow another 3 to 4 inches by september for school. In september im gonna post another review to tell you guys if it has grown that long.
