This camera is terrific. It exceeds the spec sheet in some area while not all of the claims are accurate. It was hard to find data it prior to purchase so I will try to include some here. Dimentions are 4.5" x 2.5" x 1.5". It has an 8 MegPixel still picture setting, not just 5. The silicone skin looks like it will work well, although I have not tried it yet. The video looks really clear on our 52" screen. The battery life isn't very long (about an hour claimed by the manual), but since it takes standard mini USB it is easy to recharge (other mini USB cords for Cell phones such as car chargers, using the computer USB port, and we even went out and got an emergancy cell phone charger that takes AA if we want to charge it on the fly.)
