"This trike alright, not worth the $$ in my opinion though. We've had it for roughly 4 months and it's getting too small for my nearly 2 1/2 old already. I just can't seem to understand how they think it would last to 3yo for the avg kids these days. And in case you didn't realize it only will hold up to a 37 lbs child, my child is in the 75th % for weight/height so not a big kid. I'd recommend getting the bigger bike to save some $$ in the long run. Though the customer service for radio flyer was good (I've had to use them already regarding this bike)."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

"Wow, I must say I am quite surprised with the negative comments on this item. My son rides this with ease (he's 3) and has never tipped over. I would even say he is a speed demon on it. Like one of the previous comments said, the basket clips in place. My son takes his off and puts it on again by himself. The only time it falls of is if it is not clipped in place. I would say that this trike is better for 21/2 to 3 and a little older."

"This was a great purchase for our daugther. We gave it to her for her 2nd birthday, she is now 3 1/2 and she still loves to ride it. It is much better than the other tricycles around because of it's size (other kids we know could never reach the pedals on theirs) and because of the ease of pedal motion. It was great for learning to pedal! It also folds up very easily so we took it on many trips. I am about to buy another one for my 18 mos. old son. He is always pushing our daughters around."

"We thought that this tricycle would be good quality because it's radio flyer. We were kind of disturbed to see though that when our daughter rides it, it tips very, very easily. She's not riding too fast, or turning too fast - it's just a product design problem. If you do wind up buying this, buy a helmet at the same time! I would skip on buying this one and buy a more reliable trike instead. We are going to see if we can return this one and regardless of the outcome buy our daughter a new tricycle. Neither I or her father feel safe having her ride on this."
