Does this product work for recording music, as in a rehearsal, concert or choral setting?

Hi Mikey, I've tried using this to record string instruments at a close range and it works well. Pretty clear for a voice recorder. However, with more symphonic, I don't think it will be at a great recording. Decent, but not crystal clear. I would equate it to recording a lecture. You will be able to hear the highs and lows, but not the intricate details like in a CD quality recording. A good recording would require the recorder to be place directly above the performers. So in all, this would still probably be good enough for you if you just want to see what your rehearsal sounds like or how the concert went. It would be very similar to putting a videotape recorder in the audience. You hear the show as well as a bit of the audience.
