Keurig B40 Single-Cup Brewer Review

Excellent Idea…Finally

Reviewer Comments: for years, i have been sick and tired of dirt in my car after mtn bikinmg and being a muddy mess. I saw this thing in a parking lot being used one day, I couldn’t figure out where all the water was coming from and mud streams so I walked over to his car. This guy had his mountain bike spotless and was rinsing his legs and gear off by the time I walked over. Its not a pressure washer like we all know, its portable and cordless and holds enough water to clean up when you dont have a hose available. It sprays plenty strong and can be adjusted. I live in the city - try finding a hose thier. Excellent tool - I finally bought one. Cant and wontlive without it.
the ugly duckling: beauty without looks

Reviewer Comments: I am a gigging musician and purchased this computer for live performance with Ableton, Native instruments and other applications.
Right out of the box I was struck by the super shinny mirror black cover surface with oodles the extra gloss silver trim, it gives the machine a cheesy pander’s look that goes beyond offense and places it in the realm of consciously in your face bad taste. Almost a satiric comment on Apple and Sony fashion statement machines (my girlfriend squirms at the look and I am somewhere between laughing and throwing up every time I close the lid).
Once we open the lid (and don’t have to look at it anymore) things get dramatically better, this is a very fast and powerful machine with a quality display and graphics. It handles allot of VST plugins without fatigue and can power usb driven outboard gear (a Novation SL controller, a Korg nano keyboard, NI Kore 2, and a jump drive) without going under - though I prefer to power the Novation with its own AC supply, one should never press one’s luck especially if we want to perform well).
It is useful, if you feel up to it, to get rid of much of the junk software that comes with the machine, do you really want to be part of an ASUS social network? The machine will run faster if you do. On the other hand the security software works well and is easy to configure.
A real negative is the keyboard, it is extremely clicky and needs to be beaten sternly so as not to drop letters (perhaps this goes with the look?). For a touch typer like me this is a real pain.
Battery life is ok, if you are a battery freak you will probably complain but for my one or two hours excursions away from real power this machine does perfectly well and does not let you down.
The bottom line is if you can get past the sheer tastelessness of its looks (or if you go for them) and if you hit the keys with passion, this is a powerhouse computer at what is a bargain price. The T9400 dual core processor and graphics with one gig of dedicated VRAM make this ugly duckling rock. Check it out.

stuff sack sucks

Reviewer Comments: The sleeping bag keeps you warm in cold temperatures, but getting the sleeping bag back in the stuff sack completely takes a miracle from God…or a man with popeye strength forearms. It’s even more difficult when your fingers are cold. I would use this for car camping but definitely not for backpacking.

Excellent product

Reviewer Comments: I am writing this for my elderly mother who has been using this for the past week. She lives alone and used to sleep on her recliner because she could not get in and out of bed. She now feels more independent because she can get in and out of bed with ease. She has home health care visit once a week and they have nothing but praise for this product.

My Lucky Day

Reviewer Comments: I had never heard of CymaxStores. Was trolling the internet when I stumbled across the site. I was suspicious of such a good deal but I had been looking for a utility kitchen cart for so long that I decided not to pass it up. Also, being more cerebral than mechanical, I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to put it together.Posh! Piece of cake!! Diagram instructions were so clear that, once I put my anxiety aside, I was able to put it together—by myself! Yeah, me!! My coffee tree sits on top of the cart so that the cups are always there to beckon me to take a friendly coffee break. My spice tree also sits on the top shelf within handy reach when I’m cooking. The second shelf holds my small applicances, rice cooker, slow cooker, and cookbooks. My microwave just does–just does–fit on the bottom shelf. Knives are within reach of the stove; dish towel is within reach of the sink. I could not be more pleased with the product, the price [...]

Still comfy for two

Reviewer Comments: I bought this hammock specifically to use when I “popped the question” to my wife. That was over three years ago and it has turned out to be one of the things that stays in the car because we use it so much. It’s extremely comfortable and easy to set up. Both my wife and I can nap together in it, although that doesn’t say much since neither of us weigh all that much. I’ve even used it when it’s colder than what I would consider “hammock weather”. Just throw in some blankets and you’re golden.
Some of the things to think about though…this is not for backpacking. It’s bulky (although it has it’s own little storage sack), and weighs quite a bit due to the fact that it’s 100% cotton. I’ve never gotten it wet, but I’m guessing it wouldn’t be good for it. Also, when you’re hanging it up, make sure you string it up high since the cotton fabric stretches quite a lot over time. I usually hang it at eye level (I’m 6′ tall) and after a few hours my wife and I can reach over the side and grab our shoes off the ground.
After a few years this thing is still going strong. Some of stitching is getting worn out, but I don’t see any problem with it lasting another couple of years.
Us enjoying our hammock
