One out of two was great
"I've owned two of these mattresses. The first lasted almost 3 years before the top material on the mattress ripped. I thought this timeframe was actually quite good given the mattress was used daily by kids and was not exactly treated with kid gloves.
I purchased another after the first one died. It lasted less than 6 months. The seams on the underside of the mattress developed pin hole size leaks on the ends which I was unable to seal properly (there are multiple seams on the bottom of the mattress) with either the patch kit provided or a store bought patch kit. The mattress tended to leak and required re-inflating every 3 to 4 hours when in use. I bought a bed to replace the mattress.
Not sure if anyone else has had the same issue. I might be tempted to buy another given the cost and quality of the first mattress. However, the quality of the second unit gives me pause.
The rating is based on the second unit. The first would have been 5 stars across the board."
